We are RISE, which stands for Regional Initiatives for Sustainable Education. We are a diverse group of grassroots educators and stakeholders with a passionate belief in the educability of all children.

 

Our major educational goal for this year is to increase teacher capacity and the number of certified teachers in high-poverty communities. Many of us associated with RISE, know firsthand, the depths of the need for certified teachers and the difference they can make for both students and communities. We have witnessed the miracles wrought by teachers- the aimless made focused, the bored made fascinated, the defeated made hopeful, and the reluctant student becoming a lifelong learner.

 

We at RISE believe in the worthiness of our goals and in our ability to create change to reach those goals. Come join us in a crusade, a crusade, where there are no winners and losers, only the successfully educated.
